APPLYING FOR A SCHOLARSHIP FROM A TECHNICAL/VOCATIONAL SCHOOL

Applying for one of the single mother scholarships offered by the Stella H. Oaks Foundation can be accomplished in three steps:

1.      Make sure you meet all scholarship eligibility criteria

2.      Fill out an online application form (email scholarship@stellahoaks.org or call (801) 866-1936 with application and scholarship-related questions)

3.      Eligible applicants may be invited to interview with our scholarship selection committee

All scholarships are granted on a term basis. For short programs, your scholarship may be a one-time award. For longer programs (6 months+), you may apply for a second scholarship to cover the next portion of your program.

*Please Note* These scholarships are for students attending vocational or technical colleges. For traditional 2-year degrees (Associates) and 4-year degrees (Bachelors), apply with the traditional application.

APPLICATION DEADLINE DATES

There are no application deadlines for technical and vocational programs. Applications are reviewed upon submission and students are notified of the scholarship committee’s decision within two weeks.
