Bruce L. Olson

Bruce L. Olson is a tax and nonprofit law attorney with the Salt Lake law firm of Ray Quinney & Nebeker and is a graduate of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. He specializes in advising nonprofit and exempt organizations large and small on tax and state law issues. He was principal draftsman of the Utah Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act and guides the Utah Legislature in revising the Act.
Bruce is a frequent speaker and author on nonprofit subjects. Following active duty in the U.S. Army in Germany, he served in the U.S. Army Reserve and retired as a Colonel. Bruce and his wife Judy are the parents of six children and 16 grandchildren. Bruce is committed to the cause of assisting single mothers, as he fondly remembers his grandmother, a single parent for over 40 years, revered by her three children and many grandchildren.
