Kathy Clayton

Kathy Kipp Clayton was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but lived for decades in California where she and her husband, L. Whitney Clayton, an Emeritus General Authority, raised their seven children. 

Kathy graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in English and French education. She later earned a master's degree in educational linguistic development in California. She has taught composition, English, mathematics, and family life courses at junior high, high school, and junior colleges in Utah and California. 

Kathy has written two books: Teaching to Build Faith and Faithfulness and Confidence: Your Birthright as a Child of God.
