Krista Sorenson

Krista is currently a Director of the Sorenson Impact Foundation where she works alongside her husband, Jim, around the world facilitating projects and ideas that have the potential to become scalable, self-sustaining, and can maximize positive impact on the lives and societies they touch.  

Krista received her Executive MBA in business form the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She currently serves on several community boards and commissions throughout the state including Ballet West, Utah Department of Arts and Museums, and CHOICE Humanitarian.

She is the mother of two adult sons, Grant and Gavin, and calls Salt Lake City home.  In her early years, Krista was a disciplined, young ballet dancer performing for Ballet West and studying at the Juilliard School of American Ballet. Later, Krista graduated from BYU where she was Captain of the Cheer Squad, with degrees in Health Promotion and Business. Her professional career focused on the healthcare industry where she spent 19 years in medical and pharmaceutical sales working for Boston Scientific, Edwards Lifesciences and Bristol Myers-Squibb. Her favorite hobbies are pickleball, yoga and golf.
